“My brother Michael and I are finally safely returned from our three-week trip circumnavigating the Baja peninsula with our ‘87 VW Camper. On our way back to the frontera, we ran into a mysterious oil pressure problem in El Rosario, so I called Discover Baja and spoke with Maythé. She immediately interceded on our behalf and spoke directly with Daniel the owner of Tuercas Llantera in El Rosario. Maythé was able to arrange for us to get to San Quintin where a two great VW mechanics lived. Once again, on the phone Maythé helped us with translating between the mechanics and my brother and me. I just can’t tell you how much it meant to us to be able to have Maythé and Carol intercede for us. Their caring, persistence, and resourcefulness saved the day. Maythé, Carol, and the entire Discover Baja staff are the greatest. Thank you. Thank you.” -Stephen Girard, a proud and humble member of Discover Baja
“I have been a member for about 18 years, and the club has been instrumental in obtaining my FMM with immigration, vehicle insurance, travel and tourist advice, fishing licenses, and many books and maps. Their travel articles have been instrumental in us visiting those places, and their newsletter is top notch. I highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to travel one of North America’s last frontiers.” –Udo W.
