The 25th Festival de las Conchas y el Vino Nuevo will take place on April 13th at the Hotel Coral & Marina in Ensenada. This popular seafood and wine festival will be preceded by accompanying the events Salon del Vino on April 11th, and Mesas Marinas on April 12th where guests enjoy a meal alongside a local chef and winemaker. Mexico Food and Travel Reader Awards Recognize Baja
Baja recently won numerous accolades from the Mexico Food and Travel Reader Awards. Baja California won as the national hot spot for travel and Valle de Guadalupe won as the best national wine region. Grand Velas Los Cabos resort won the award for best all-inclusive experience. Oscar Torres from Valle de Guadalupe’s Animalón restaurant won the award for best revelatory chef and Hugo D’Acosta from Valle de Guadalupe’s Casa de Piedra winery won the award for best gastronomic career.
