Drew Deckman Opens San Diego Restaurant
Chef Drew Deckman of Valle de Guadalupe’s Deckman’s en el Mogor has opened a new restaurant in San Diego, 31THIRTYONE. the three-story restaurant, located in North Park on University Ave, features Baja shellfish and salt from San Felipe, but otherwise the restaurant revolves around seasonal products from San Diego producers—from farmers to fishermen and ranchers. Wine Without Borders Festival
The 3rd annual Provino Vino Sin Fronteras (Wine Without Borders) festival will take place on Saturday, October 5th in Tijuana at the Club Campestre. The festival will feature more than 40 wineries and food from 30 restaurants from Tijuana, Rosarito, Ensenada, and Tecate. Live music will take place throughout the event.
