The Valle de Guadalupe Fiestas de la Vendimia continues through August ending on Sunday, August 18th with the famous Concurso de Paellas (paellas contest). Baja Mezcal Fest

Michelin-Starred Baja Chef Comes to San Diego

Mexicali-born Chef Esteban Lluis of restaurant Damiana in Valle de Guadalupe (that recently earned a Michelin star in Mexico’s first Michelin Guide), will be bringing his dishes north of the border this summer. Lluis is creating the menu and will be the executive chef at Kaluú, a new restaurant scheduled to open in San Diego’s Gas Lamp area later this month.

Crossing South Wine & Food Festival in San Diego

Join Jorge Meraz, host of KPBS’s Crossing South, on Saturday, August 24th at Ingram Plaza in Liberty Station for the Crossing South Wine & Food Festival. The festival will feature Baja wines, craft beer, and delicious food. The festival is free to attend to check out the booths and enjoy the music. Glasses of wine from Valle de Guadalupe and craft beer will be available for sale. In order to participate in the food, wine, and beer tastings, you will need to buy tickets in advance.
