Valle de Guadalupe Fiestas de la Vendimia

The 2023 Fiestas de la Vendimia which will take place in Valle de Guadalupe and Ensenada this year from July 29 to August 26. Tickets are currently on sale via the Provino website for Muestra del Vino and Concurso de Paeallas, two of the biggest and most popular events of the festival.

Todos Santos Mango Festival

Todos Santos will celebrate its 15th annual mango festival this month. There will be multiple events to celebrate the festival spread out over a few weeks, but the main gastronomic event will take place on Sunday, July 23rd in the plaza.

Cocina la Baja

The Cocina la Baja seafood festival will take place July 15 in Ensenada at the Hotel Coral y Marina. The festival will feature more than 45 seafood tastings from regional chefs. There will also be cooking demonstrations, a culinary battle, live music, and a kids area. Local beer and wine will be available for purchase. Tickets are $700 MN pesos and can be purchased at the link here.

Tijuana’s Culinary Arts School Celebrates 20 Years

Tijuana’s famed Culinary Arts School just celebrated its 20 year anniversary. Founded in 2003, it was the first culinary school in northwestern Mexico and played a pivotal role in Tijuana becoming the foodie mecca that it is today. Over 20 percent of the school’s student body crosses to Tijuana from the United States to attend school and graduates from the school are now working in 14 countries around the world.
