Tickets on Sale for Muestra del Vino
Tickets are now on sale for the Muestra del Vino, one of the major events of Valle de Guadalupe’s Fiestas de la Vendimia wine harvest festival. The event will take place on Friday, August 5th starting at 7pm at the Riviera Culural Center in Ensenada. The event features wine from over 70 different wineries and food from some of the best local chefs. You can read more about the event here and can purchase tickets on the Provino website. The 2022 Fiestas de la Vendimia will take place from July 30th to August 21st.

Mezcal Festival
Tahona Baja, located on the Cuatro Cuatros property just outside Valle de Guadalupe, will be hosting a large Baja Mezcal Fest on Saturday, July 16th. The event is designed to celebrate artisanal mezcal makers and authentic Mexican culture and heritage. Guests will enjoy tastings of agave spirits from more than 25 leading mezcal brands, as well as the ability to meet and mingle with several of Mexico’s best mezcaleros. In addition to artisanal mezcal, the event will feature food from more than a dozen guest chefs from Baja, Oaxaca, San Diego and beyond. Click here for tickets and more information.

La Guerrerense to Open Valle de Guadalupe Restaurant
Ensenada’s famous La Guerrerense seafood cart is planning to open a new restaurant in Valle de Guadalupe. The cart is owned and operated by Sabina Bandera who also has Sabina Restaurant just down the street in Ensenada as well as Guerrerense in Mexico City. Her seafood creations have been a local’s favorite for decades and have caught the eye and stomachs of foodies around the world after the late Anthony Bourdain featured her on his show “No Reservations.”
