Day 1 – departure from San Diego 6:30am, cross border at Otay Mesa, La Rumarosa toll road to Highway 5 and then to San Felipe, lunch on el malecon in San Felipe, drive to Highway 1 via Puertocitos – Gonzaga Bay, check in to Hotel Mision Cataviña, free time, dinner Cataviña
Day 2 -, 7am breakfast in Cataviña, depart 8am for local cave paintings, drive to Guerrero Negro, check in at motel, Tony’s Tacos, free time, dinner at Mario’s Palapa
Day 3 – 7am breakfast, drive to Ojo de Liebre lagoon for 2 hour inner lagoon whale tour, lunch at Tony’s Tacos, break, visit old town Guerrero Negro – old lighthouse – wetlands, special dinner and cooking demonstration at Mario’s
Day 4 – check out of rooms, 7am breakfast, bus tour to outer lagoon with Mario’s through salt plant, 3 hour whale tour outer lagoon with sack lunch, drive to Bahía de Los Ángeles, check in Costa del Sol motel, free time, seafood extravaganza dinner!
Day 5 – 7:30am breakfast, boat tour of bay and islands with burrito lunch, visit Bahía Natural History Museo, beach day and dinner at Casa Essary
Day 6 – depart Bahía de Los Ángeles at 8am after breakfast, lunch in San Quintín at Parcela 12, drive to Meling Ranch, free time (hiking or horseback riding), family style dinner
Day 7 – 8am breakfast, drive to Parque Nacionál, picnic lunch at San Pedro Mártir park area, return to Rancho Meling, free time, family style dinner.
Day 8 – depart Meling Ranch at 9am after breakfast, torta lunch in El Sauzal, wine tasting in Valle de Guadalupe, cross border in Tecate.

Day 5 – Check out of rooms, 7am breakfast at Mario’s, 3-hour whale tour to outer lagoon, return to Mario’s for clothing change, drive to Bahía de Los Ángeles two hours, check in Costa del Sol motel, free time, seafood extravaganza dinner!
Day 6 – 7:30am breakfast at hotel, boat tour of bay and islands with burrito lunch, visit Bahía Natural History Museo, free time, dinner at Casa Essary
Day 7 – 7:30am breakfast at hotel, depart Bahía at 8:30am, lunch at Parcela 12, check into Santa Maria hotel, free time, dinner at hotel (or Old Mill).
Day 8 – Breakfast at hotel 8am, depart hotel for border, torta lunch in El Sauzal, wine tasting in Valle de Guadalupe, cross border in Tecate, back approximately 5:30-6:30.
